529 Plans
Have a Little One behind your college-bound high schooler?  Or are you an excellent planner and are here to learn ways to save for your toddler's college education?  Either way, you've come to the right place!  Here, you'll get the straight scoop on 529 Plans; not the incessant hype you get elsewhere.

Since a 529 Plan is a college savings vehicle, perhaps we should heed the advice of the greatest Saver/Investor of all time, Warren Buffett.  Buffett famously has two investment rules -

Rule #1: Never lose money.  Rule #2: Never forget Rule #1.

Placing funds intended for a specific, date-certain future event - the cost of college, due the August after HS graduation - into investments that can (and did!) lose value is not exactly following Buffett's Golden Rules.  Good News!  There are other ways to save for college; contact us to see if they're for you.

In our FREE REPORT, "529 Plans - The Hype and the Help," you will learn Five things you were never told about 529s (and probably, Five things the person who sold them to you didn't know either!) and Five ways to fix them, now that they have lost value.  You'll also learn where 529 Plan investments are appropriate and which parents should steer clear of them.

There is so much hype about how "great" 529 Plans are, you'd think they're the only way to save for college!  What you don't hear is the "con" to 529 Plan salespeople's "pros."  EFS will soon launch 529PlanRescue.com to help parents fully understand what they have.  Be sure to request that we alert you to the site's launch when you request the FREE REPORT, here.

In the meantime, here are some of our 529 Plan concerns.
