Another area EFS examines for every client is whether there can be an improvement made to the family's eligibility for need-based financial aid and more specifically, "gift-aid" (money that need not be repaid). We typically reserve this process for students who apply to - perhaps after EFS identifies candidate colleges - that award a significant amount of gift-aid.
